2 months agoOne of the adventurous and tranquil temple visit of my life. For those planning to visit, you can reach sano phedi/kafle pati by your own vehicle or through shared taxi from Phungling bazar. From there onwards you need to trek around 2km to thulo phedi. I would recommend staying a night there.7-8 hotels are available there. Complete rest of the trip next morning. Carry something to eat while trekking . Thulo phedi is the last stop afterwards you won't get anything to buy .

4 months agoExcellent place to visit for pilgrimage, hiking and enjoying the nature. Though precautions are recommended for people with weak body, aged people and childrens. The view, the atmosphere, the hike, the cold wind, everything feels refreshing and adventurous. Everything faced to get to the temple is well worth the effort.Points to be noted: - Vehicles (jeeps) can go upto 'सानो फेदी/तल्लो फेदी'. The hiking part starts from there.- 'ठुलो फेदी/माथिल्लो फेदी is where the last lodging available to the temple.- There are porter brothers who provide the service of carrying people and luggages. [Which is extremely helpful when people are not able to climb up/down the stairs themselves]- People are recommended to not touch any wild plants near the paths as they may cause sickness and allergy to people.- The path is completely paved with stones to make it easier to walk when it snows.- There are sheltered benches for taking rests during the hike. They are more frequently placed in steep climbs.- There are dustbins placed every 50 meters or so. Try to discard the garbage in those bins and keep the environment clean.
